Note that re the edible thing – I suggest working with a qualified herbalist before trying them.

They are a good flusher of toxins in your digestive system. That plant is an awesome natural remedy for most skin and inner body illnesses. I watched on a t.v program with Havoc that was on 10 or so years ago call ‘are you my tribe?’ Or something like that. He was in Tuhoe country. He wasnt as welcomed into their district as he thought he would be. He was hanging with the Kuia of the marae. They were doing a day of māori rongoa. Havoc had a turn and they placed boiled kawakawa leaves on his puku and left them there for like 10-15 minutes. Giving him a chance to chat with the aunties and kuia. Them giving him a slight bit of greif. Then they revealed the out ome. Some of the leaves turned black. And the woman asked him a few medical history questions which where all true. Then one of them told havoc her diagnosis and what he need to. It was spot on with just those leaves and the colour the turn when absorbing the toxins.

You can get 10kg of this off trademe for about $65. I mixed up a heavy solution in a 10L bucket using about 1kg and this made about 30 litres of spray which I put into a backpack sprayer. I waited until we had rain and the horrible stuff was hydrated and then hit it. It definitely worked. It started to kill it soon after it started to dry out and a month or so later there was little evidence of it.
Having said all that, when I left for Aussie in April there was no sign of it, when I came back in October the drive was a mess again. So I have just repeated the treatment and will see what happens over the next month. My drive is close to the Hokianga harbour..like about 30 metres away and it is all metal, however I did the rail trail up there on the weekend and that is infested with it too. This seemed to work but it will be an on-going battle. i will also try the copper sulphate as that is not expensive if you buy 25kg of it.

Do not harvest Rongoa from roadsides, unless you want all the fluid toxins inside your internals. Rural roads or not. It’s a B.I.G NO,NO!

Both now have intestinal upsets. Could this be caused by it? I sprinkled baking soda on it and it is now gone.

I’m a collector of autobiographies have perhaps fifty at home in the U.K.Valerie & I spend a lot of time here in N Z as we have a daughter & her family here. When ever possible I like to have them signed & wonder if you would be so kind.Of course will make a proper arrangement with you. So lucky to obtain this copy as we were looking in a second hand book shop in Pukekohe. Having them signed has long been a hobby have had around ten in N Z alone. We once flew to South Africa on such an exhibition but it also included the Battle fields & the Garden route.
We always go to Keri Keri. We have traveled so much of your lovely country..Having been here since the end of April this trip & as yet haven’t booked a return flight So it’ll be around late December I guess. Kind Regards Clive & Valerie Muggridge.
